Everybody was so kind and so attentive I was never nauseous everything went very well I would recommend these people the lighter dreams to take care of you it was a wonderful experience because of that and as of this message today May 17th 2025 which is also my birthday I am down 91 lb so yes highly recommended

Booked for gastric bypass and hiatal hernia repair 05.28.24.  Arrived San Diego Airport the day before, pick up at the airport was an hour late, since I'd done everything online including payment I was starting to worry tgat I'd been scammed however the ride eventually came.

All the staff were very nice, did all my pre surgical testing and had my surgery done by Dr. Sandy the following day.

Since surgery I haven't been able to consume any solid food larger than a Sparrows mouthful a minimum of a minute apart or everything backs up in my throat where I have to reverse the eating process and expell the food to clear the esophagus.  The food doesn't all clear, some of it gets stuck half way in/out the stomach spincter.  The pain associated with esophageal blockage is excruciating  and lasts for hours.  You can equate it to the pain you feel after gulping a coke first thing in the morning and tge gasses expand making you feel like your having a heart attack.

To this day, some 7 months later I've lost 150 lb, sedentary and zero excercise.  My massive weight loss is not due to a successful surgery but a lack of food intake.  I often skip my prescription medications and vitamins because they get stuck in the esophagus also, even fluids can block up,  on a few occasions I've woken drowning on my own mucous buildup from food backed up in the esophagus.  I still haven't been able to belch since the surgery

I did try communicating with my nurse a few weeks after surgery explaining that I can no longer eat but I never got a reply back, it would appear tgat once tge money dries up so does the after care.

This procedure was supposed to extend my life and not be the d3ath sentence it's turned into.
